The new TECHKON DENS unifies three devices in one:

- color reflection densitometer for CMYK color prints.

- film transmission densitometer

- high-precision illuminated magnifying glass.

To meet the demands of a printing rooms harsh environment, the compact casing of the DENS is made of solid aluminum and is therefore very robust. Despite its solidity, the DENS nevertheless weights only 330 g and thanks to its ergonomic and elegant design it is more than a user-friendly and precise measurement tool – it is an eye-catcher.

SpectroDens is your all-purpose, modern measurement device for every application from pre-press to print. Whether it be in pre-print for verifying proofs, for ongoing quality control at the printing press, during delivery inspection of paper and print products or in a color lab, SpectroDens is exceptionally suitable, no matter which application.

 

The supplied Windows-software TECHKON SpectroConnect provides the connection between SpectroDens and the PC via the micro-USB connector. Measurement data can thus be comfortably viewed and processed on the PC.

The system consists of two components: The motorized measurement system scans the complete color bar on a printed sheet within seconds and simultaneously sends the spectral measurement data wirelessly to the PC where all relevant information for controlling the printing press is displayed.

SpectroDrive can be used as a scanning device as well as a hand-held instrument for single measurements. Just take the device from the horizontal track and position it wherever you want to take a color measurement. SpectroDrive now also features an integrated display that shows the measurement values of spot measurements directly at the device. 

The measurement of the right dot transfer on offset printing plates is a key segment of comprehensive process control in the printing industry.

 SpectroPlate is available in two different types of performance packages:

 

- The entry-level model Start is for dot percentage measurements on all popular types of printing plates,film and CMYK print.

- The Expert-version additionally features the recording of complete transfer curves and the possibility to analyze geometric objects within the device.
